Fue el Papa Gregorio IV\u00a0 quien la instaur\u00f3 para honrar una costumbre que hab\u00eda comenzado con la Gran Persecuci\u00f3n de Diocleciano, cuando el n\u00famero de m\u00e1rtires\u00a0 fue tan grande que no se pod\u00eda celebrar su aniversario de forma individual. El d\u00eda elegido por la iglesia cristiana coincidi\u00f3 con el Samhain (fin del verano), el primer\u00a0 d\u00eda del a\u00f1o celta, una jornada de transici\u00f3n de una estaci\u00f3n a otra y de un mundo a otro. El samhain es el rito pagano que da origen a Halloween o Noche de las Brujas, cuando los muertos pueden caminar entre los vivos y desatar el terror.. y la imaginaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El instituto celebra su particular Halloween con un concurso de relatos de terror, <em>Halloween Competition<\/em>, que este a\u00f1o tuvo como ganadores\u00a0 a Yago Carre\u00f1o, de 1\u00ba B ESO y Cristina Baeza, de 2\u00ba BHCS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">RELATO DE YAGO CARRE\u00d1O<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The doorbell rang. It was late but after all, it was Halloween\u2019s night so I didn\u2019t think twice and went to open the door. It was the night of skeletons, pumpkins, ghosts and goblins so I was not surprised to see a strange figure dressed like a ghost knocking, waiting. I thought he wanted candy but the truth was (&#8230;.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u2026\u2026that he didn\u2019t want trick-or-treating. The mysterious figure was dressed as a ghost but he was a real murderer. He wanted to kill me! He came in and closed the door immediately. He carried a large knife and he was ready to attack. I didn\u2019t know what to do. I was scared but I had good reflexes. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Suddenly it hit him and then the assassin lost his weapon. At the end, the police arrived and listened to my story. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>-\u201cIt\u2019s prison for you!\u201d said a policeman to the killer.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>After a long day, it was time to go to bed. Halloween was over.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">RELATO DE CRISTINA BAEZA<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The doorbell rang. Everything was perfectly in place, there was nothing to fear, it was only my imagination!<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Hours after I decided to go to sleep but there was something that held me. I noticed a presence around me. I was afraid since I was alone. I decided to turn on the lights to see what was happening in my room and suddenly, I saw a shadow going through the walls of my room while making strange noises. I left as quickly as possible from my house and fled away, not knowing where and not knowing what to do with the presence that lived in my house.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Sometimes I keep noticing that scary thing around me<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte el alumnado de Pl\u00e1stica de la secci\u00f3n biling\u00fce prepar\u00f3 una exhibici\u00f3n de trabajos sobre casas embrujadas que se pudo ver en el aula de Pl\u00e1stica y en los pasillos del IES.
